Hi ! I'm Behr-Tah and I am now a retired breeder, but still the top cat here at Beck's Cattery.  I'd love to tell you about the members of our home here at Beck's.  First let me introduce you to our humans, Tim and Pat Beck. They brought me to their home in October of 1994. These two have never met a cat that they didn't like, but fortunately for me, they are especially partial to Himalayans.  That's what I am, a blue point Himalayan. The Beck's so impressed me with their loving care that I consented to have more of my breed added to the household.  I'll introduce you to them a little later.

Oh, by the way, you can call me Bertie.  Everyone else does. I was purchased from Hard Rock Cattery in Muncie, IN.  I was one of eight kittens, but unlike my dam, I have decided to have most of my litters one kitten at a time.  This allows me to have time to run the household and make sure that everyone stays in line. Tim and Pat do not believe in caging animals unless they are sick, so all of the kittens are raised underfoot, and they do get underfoot.  They believe that raising physically and mentally healthy cats is the most important goal in running a cattery. To maintain this quality, they have decided to keep the cattery small. To do this, they have purchased high quality cats with great temperaments and physical characteristics.

I will be your guide through the other cat pages, except for the kittens.  Tim and Pat have to take care of a lot of the communications with other people to make sure that our kittens go into loving, friendly homes. Just choose any of the buttons at the left, and we will be on our way.  Thanks for dropping by!
